Ladder golf

A game of skill in which participants throw bolas—two balls connected by string—and attempt to hang them on the rungs of a ladder. Each rung has a different point value.

Game setup: Place the ladder on a level, stable surface. Mark the throwing line approximately 4–5 steps from the ladder. If the game is too easy, you can move the throwing line further away. If it's too difficult, you can move closer.

If you are playing with two ladders, place them opposite each other and throw them towards the opposite ladder.

Number of players: 2 people or 2 teams play. Players alternate throws.

Bolas: Each player has 3 bolas. On their turn, they throw them one at a time towards the ladder.

Scoring: Top rung - 3 points. Middle rung - 2 points. Bottom rung - 1 point.

Points only count when the bolas hang on the rung. Bolas that fall to the ground or fail to stay on the ladder do not score points.

Object of the game: The first player or team to score a set number of points wins - most often played to 21 points.
