Wooden outdoor games XXL

Where does the popularity of large-format games come from?

Large-format games have become popular because they combine the simplicity of classic games with a "wow" effect that works well at outdoor parties, family gatherings and larger celebrations.

They don't require a long explanation of the rules, engage guests of all ages, and naturally create an excuse for conversation, laughter, and a little competition.

Their strength lies in the fact that they don't dictate the game's script. You can come in for a moment, play a round, return to the conversation, and then play a rematch.

This makes XXL wooden games perfect for weddings, birthdays, garden parties, communions, hen and stag parties, and family gatherings in the garden.

This attraction requires no electricity, loud music, or complicated operation. All you need is a small space and guests who want to spend time together in a relaxed, unconstrained atmosphere.

Our observations indicate that queues form at many attractions during outdoor events. This is because the games offered are too long and capacity is limited.

A simple way to integrate guests

Private parties often bring together people from different backgrounds, generations, and groups of friends. Some guests know each other very well, while others are meeting for the first time. XXL wooden games naturally help bridge this gap by creating a simple excuse for shared fun, conversation, and a bit of competition.

Their biggest advantage is the low entry barrier. The rules are simple, the gameplay is fast, and the game format itself immediately encourages people to try it. Guests don't need to know the rules, prepare, or commit for long periods of time. They can come in for a moment, play a round, laugh with others, and then return to chatting, dining, or dancing.

This makes games a great addition to the party. At weddings, they can add variety to the time spent between meals and dancing. At birthdays or garden parties, they become a natural gathering point in the garden. At First Communion receptions, family gatherings, or picnics, they allow children, adults, and seniors to play on the same terms.

Playing together doesn't require official animation or stage direction. A well-set-up gaming area is all that's needed, and guests can approach, try things out, cheer each other on, and organize rematches. This allows the fun to unfold naturally—without pressure, without a rigid script, and without interrupting the flow of the event.

XXL wooden games help create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. They're a good solution when you want guests to not only sit at tables but also interact, laugh, and spend time together in a less formal setting.

For me, games are an excuse to meet, talk, and spend time together. If something I've invented and built helps people have fun and connect a little more, then I feel like this work truly has meaning.

For me, creating XXL games is more than just creating new party attractions. I enjoy the entire process—from the initial idea, through tinkering with mechanics, to testing to make sure everything is convenient, simple, and fun. Sometimes the smallest detail determines whether a game is just a pretty object or one that actually engages people.

The most joyful moment for me is when I see people actually start playing. Someone comes over just to watch, someone else takes a single "test" shot, and then a rematch ensues, with friends cheering and laughing. That's when I know the game has worked.

Where did the idea for Giga games come from?

It all started at a party

"Retro Backyard"-themed, I organized a bottle cap game zone for a client. It was incredibly popular with parents and children. I got hooked too! A day later, the bottle cap game wouldn't leave me alone... I fantasized about a bottle cap league and the return of bottle caps. I knew I had to do something about it. So I started designing bottle cap tracks. From the racing game, a precision game emerged, followed by other games in that category.

Then it was time to modify the game cap. Originally, game caps were filled with plasticine, lead

or wax. I was looking for something "pretty" that would fit the current times. I chose resin. It turned out that graphics embedded under a thin layer of transparent plastic/resin look amazing. It creates a transparent coating, giving the graphics depth. Awesome! Following up on this, I started designing more games familiar from my childhood, enlarging them to XXL size.

“If I could go back to my childhood, I know I would rule the whole neighborhood with those caps!”
