Hanging by a thread

A skill game in which participants place blocks on a suspended platform. The task seems simple, but each subsequent block changes the balance of the entire structure.

Game Setup: The platform is hung securely on a hook so it can move freely and tilt slightly. The string is adjusted so that there is room under the platform for balancing. The game itself should be placed on a level, secure surface. The blocks are placed next to the game, within reach of the participants.

Number of players: 2 or more people can play. You can also play in teams, with teams taking turns.

Gameplay: Players take turns moving. On their turn, a player selects a block and places it on a suspended platform. The block must be placed carefully, without holding the platform with the other hand and without correcting previous moves by other players.

Once the block is placed, the player ends their move and the turn passes to the next person.

Objective of the game: The aim is to arrange subsequent blocks so that the platform maintains its balance for as long as possible.

Game Over: The player who places a block and causes the platform to tilt and the blocks to fall loses. If the platform moves slightly but the blocks remain in place, play continues.
