Gray cube
A team game in which players throw wooden sticks to try to knock over their opponent's blocks. A king stands in the center of the field, and can only be captured at the very end of the game.
Game setup: Mark out a rectangular playing field. Place five blocks for each team at opposite ends. Place the king in the center of the field. The distance between teams can be adjusted to suit the location and the age of the players—for parties, it's best to start with about 5–7 meters.
Number of players: 2 people or 2 teams play. Teams alternate throws.
Gameplay: On their turn, each team throws wooden batons at the opponent's blocks. The batons are thrown from below, towards the opponent's square. The goal is to knock over the blocks placed on the opponent's line.
At the end of a turn, the knocked-over blocks are thrown back onto the field of the team that captured them. They are then placed vertically where they landed. They then become field blocks.
Important rule: Before a team can start knocking down blocks placed on the opponent's end line, they must first knock down all the field blocks located on their half.
Objective of the game: To win, the team must first knock over all the opponent's blocks and only then capture the king standing in the middle of the field.
King: The king may only be captured at the end of the game. If a team knocks down the king early, they automatically lose.
